Thank you cards

I hope everyone had a great Christmas.  I know I did and I enjoyed getting together with family and carrying on traditions, that is what Christmas is all about.  One of my gifts this year was a new cartridge called 3 Birds on Parade, so I made up a few thank you cards using it.  I hope you like them.

In this last card, I attatched the bird to a homemade action wobble.

Poster for Work

Thursday Santa will be visiting where I work, and I was asked to make the  poster.  Of course I agreed to!
I used Winter Frolic for Santa, Plantin Schoolbook for the font and Trim a tree for the Christmas tree.  I think it came out pretty good.  In the middle we will write that there will be hot cocoa, cookies and candy canes.

Four Legged Friends - Cricut Lite

When I first saw this cartridge I fell in love with the mouse.  I tried to create the background to look like
the inside of a house with the wanes coating on the bottom and wallpaper on the top.  I thought it would make a cute Christmas card with the wording "Not a creature was stirring...not even a mouse."  I hope you like it.

Winter Frolic Scrapbook Layout

I love Winter Frolic's mouse and thought they would make a really cute scrapbook page.  I struggle with pattern paper, but was pleased on how the bottom photo mat turned out to look like a present.

Christmas card 2010

I wanted to use the new Tim Holtz embossing folder with the deer I bought a few months ago - I cut it down to make just a strip.  For the ornament I used Winter Frolic's tag - cut that out at 2 1/4 inches and then layered the white one at 2 inches.  The greeting is from Studio G stamps.  Please leave a comment and let me know what you think.  I am struggling with the white space on the upper left hand corner.  Thank you.

My sister Patti suggested I put 3 brads in the left hand corner.  I think that was the pefect touch.  Thanks Patti.    You can visit her blog at http://pattilynncreations.blogspot.com/ - she has some awesome ideas on there.  I am very blessed to have a sister that shares the paper passion with me and someone I can bounce ideas off of. :)

I entered this card into http://bobunny.blogspot.com/ for their sketch Tuesday challenge.

Snow Friends

Happy Sunday everyone.  I got up early this morning, printed my 60% off coupon (AC Moore) and headed to Micheals.  They had their Christmas cards marked down 50% and I knew I wanted to make something today with the Snow Friends Cartridge, so I bought the Winter card set.  I cut the larger snowman out at 3 inches and the small little guy out at 2 inches.  To simulate snow, I used some lace that I bought at Walmart for $1.00.  This was a quick and easy card to make and I think it came out adorable.  AS FOR THE 60% OFF COUPON....I bought the Scotch tape runner which came with two rolls of adhesive for around 15.00!!  That was my deal of the day :)
