Creative Sisters Challenge #6

Happy Monday everyone!!  Hope you all enjoyed a great weekend.  The weather in Maine was a little chilly, but the sun was out which made all the difference.  These next two weeks we are still being sponsored by the talented Trina Clark from Digi Scrap Kits.
My challenge these next two weeks to to create a project with a Barn Yard theme.  I think this will be a really fun theme - think of all the animals you can use, pigs, cows, sheep, horses, ducks, dogs, cats etc...  Trina has some really cute digital images of sheep, so I made this card with a very special friend in mind that is going through a tough time right now.  I hope it will cheer her up and let her know I am thinking of her.  Hope you hop over to Digi Scraps and pick up a few images to play with - they are really awesome and print out really nice.

Okay the rules for the challenge are easy!

1.) Become a follower/friend and leave a comment to this post.
2.) Made something with a barn yard theme and add it to Mr. Linky - You have two weeks before the challenge ends.
3.)  Hop over to my sisters blog,  and see what she has made for this challenge and leave a comment for her, for another chance at some awesome blog candy she is offering!

The winner of my challenge will win $5.00 coupon to use on Digi Scrap Kits.   Digi Scrap Kits is having a great sale right now, all the kits are $1.00!!  You can purchase scrapbook kits, digital overlays to name a few.  She has thousands of images and themes to choose from.

Congrataulations Julie - I sent you an email. :)

Easter Layout Challenge

My project for Queen of my Craftroom for an Easter layout, I used an adorable bunny from Trinia Clark on
Digi Scrap Kits.  I wanted to keep the stamping very light so I decided to use versamark ink.  This is the first time I have tried using versamark and I have to tell you, I LOVE IT!!  I can't wait to take some Easter photo's so I can finish this page.  I think it came out really cute.  I hope you like it.

3-D challenge

Queen of my Craftroom challenged us to make a 3-D project.  I chose to make a heart basket using Tags Bags, Boxes and More cricut cartridge and place 4 3 x 3 cards inside.  I used the fit to page feature on my expression and it cut the heart basket at 6 inches.  All the critters I placed on the cards and on the front of the basket were from Create a Critter.

Snail Mail is the Best!!

E-mail is quick but snail mail is awesome.  How many of us go to the mailbox and get nothing but bills and junk mail.  It is so nice in this electronic age to actually get a card in the mail - even nicer when it his homemade with love.  A card that was made with just you in mind.  I got this awesome card from my sister, Patti the other day and it just made my day.  To get a card out the blue for no reason.

I love it!  Thanks Patti - love you bunches!!

Free Digi file!

Trina Clark, our sponsor, just announced a free digital file.  You can go directly to her site by clicking on the icon on the right of my blog (digi scrap kits) and look for free files.  If you have not checked her site out yet, hop over there now - she is such a talented lady and has sooooo much to choose from.

Winner !!

I'd like to thank Amy Voltz from http://www.lovetocrop.com/ for being my Guest Designer these past two weeks. I hope everyone had a chance to hop over to her blog and see what a talented lady she is.

The winner of the paper pack from Paper Wishes is...

Sherrie K

of http://www.sherriescraps.blogspot.com/

Congratulations Sherri - please email me with your mailing address and I will get your Paper Wishes prize pack out to you.

Thank you to all that have participated in Creative Sisters Monday Challenges.  You totally make my day when I see what you have created - you all inspire both myself and my sister, Patti.  We love being part of this wonderful community that papercrafting has become.

Creative Sisters Challenge #5

Hi everyone - hope everyone had a fantastic weekend.  After the huge snowstorm we had on Friday (14 inches of snow) we were able to get out and walk the dogs and enjoy the 50 degree temps.

I am so so excited because over on http://www.pattilynncreations.blogspot.com/ Patti is featuring an awesome digital artist Trina Clark.  I LOVE her images and could not wait to create some Easter cards.  With the one kit I bought ($1.00) I was able to make four cards featuring a different image for all of them.

The images are high quality, crisp and clear - so easy to use.  You can shop her site at http://www.digiscrapkits.com/ where you will find thousands of clipart images, digital overlays, scrapbook kits in every subject you can imagine.  I really love her primitive art too.  She is just fabulous!!

Hop on over to Patti's site and play along with us.  Her theme is to create a project using bunnies.  We are featuring digital this time, but if you don't want to use digital, feel free to create a project using your cricut.

I am giving away a set of precision scissors from Provo Craft, since you will need a good set of scissors to cut out the digital images that you may win.  So please leave me a comment, hop over to Patti's blog and join in the fun.
