For my project I made a tea bag holder.  I took the Pequin from Santa and Friends into my silhouette studio software, duplicated the image, flipped it and welded him at the top of the hat.

then I just used a little ATG to hold the tea bag in place.  The saying on the front came from a stamp set from Close To My Heart.

Thank you so much for hopping with us today. We hope you've been inspired to try some of these ideas. Please leave us a comment, we love hearing from all our fans. We will be picking one fan from all the comments to win some PPBN files. Tell us what you will be making for Christmas this year!

Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year to all....

Be Good for Goodness Sake!

Happy Friday everyone.  How is everyone doing on their Christmas shopping?  My shopping is almost done, but not my Christmas cards!  I can't believe I am this far behind in my cards, I mean, isn't that we all love to do??  Augh - next year I am starting in July.

This is a card I made last night using Nikki's file called Santa and Friends.  This is a great file, there is a penquin, these two little elves, Santa, Rudolph and Frosty - so you can make a lot of projects with this one file.

I decided to combine a few of the files together in my Silhouette Studio software and just print and cut them out.  I added stickles to the penquins hat.  When you need a quick and easy card, print and cut is the way I go :)

Hope you like it and please take a minute to pop over to Niiki's store - she has some adorable files, perfect for your Christmas layouts and cards.

We will be having a Blog Hop tomorrow, Saturday the 15th, you won't want to miss it, there are so many great last minute gift ideas.

Sketch Challenge!

Hello everyone.  Today I made a layout for a sketch challenge that is being held on the fanpage of
Paper Piecings by Nikki.  Here is the link if you would like to play along with us.  Wednesday they will be drawing a winner and the winner will win $25 in Nikki's store.  Here is the sketch:
Photo: Challege Repost: We just wanted to clear up any confusion with the challenges so the DT has decided to create the sketches more traditionally. Create a layout using this sketch as an inspiration. Your entry does not have to be exact and does not have to have these piecings on it, just create what this sketch inspires you to create. Challenge runs through Wednesday, December 12th and the random winner will recieve $25 in free PPbN patterns :)

I used Adorable New Bears and Adorable Monkey file for my layout.
I hope you like my take on the sketch and will come over and join us HERE - YOU COULD WIN $25 IN FREE FILES!!

A little Christmas puppy!!!

Happy Happy Monday everyone!!  If you are anything like me, you are busy making your Christmas cards.  I found this cute image on www.paperpiecingsbynikki.com a few weeks back.  Every Friday she is offering 3 limited images.  When I say limited I mean you can grab them only from 12 noon til 8 pm on Friday.  Once they are gone they are gone.    A few weeks ago I grabbed this little guy.

Isn't he just adorable??  The Santa hat came from the "Merry Christmas Gingerbread Train" file found HERE

Make sure you check www.paperpiecingsbynikki.com often because she is always coming out with new files and don't forget to check back on Fridays for a one time offer!!!  You won't be sorry!!
