Winter Frolic Scrapbook Layout

I love Winter Frolic's mouse and thought they would make a really cute scrapbook page.  I struggle with pattern paper, but was pleased on how the bottom photo mat turned out to look like a present.

Christmas card 2010

I wanted to use the new Tim Holtz embossing folder with the deer I bought a few months ago - I cut it down to make just a strip.  For the ornament I used Winter Frolic's tag - cut that out at 2 1/4 inches and then layered the white one at 2 inches.  The greeting is from Studio G stamps.  Please leave a comment and let me know what you think.  I am struggling with the white space on the upper left hand corner.  Thank you.

My sister Patti suggested I put 3 brads in the left hand corner.  I think that was the pefect touch.  Thanks Patti.    You can visit her blog at http://pattilynncreations.blogspot.com/ - she has some awesome ideas on there.  I am very blessed to have a sister that shares the paper passion with me and someone I can bounce ideas off of. :)

I entered this card into http://bobunny.blogspot.com/ for their sketch Tuesday challenge.

Snow Friends

Happy Sunday everyone.  I got up early this morning, printed my 60% off coupon (AC Moore) and headed to Micheals.  They had their Christmas cards marked down 50% and I knew I wanted to make something today with the Snow Friends Cartridge, so I bought the Winter card set.  I cut the larger snowman out at 3 inches and the small little guy out at 2 inches.  To simulate snow, I used some lace that I bought at Walmart for $1.00.  This was a quick and easy card to make and I think it came out adorable.  AS FOR THE 60% OFF COUPON....I bought the Scotch tape runner which came with two rolls of adhesive for around 15.00!!  That was my deal of the day :)

Scrappin 5 little cupcakes challenge

This card was made for the challenge over on http://scrappin5littlecupcakes.blogspot.com/ which is a color

challenge using the colors black and blue plus one other color.  I made my card with the Storybook cartridge and cut the images out at 2 1/2 inches.  Hope you like it.

Cricut Cardz Challenge #50

This card is for http://cricutcardzchallenge.blogspot.com/ which is to make a Christmas card using the card feature.  I used Hello Kitty cartridge and cut the card at 5 1/4 and once it was folded is the perfect gift card.
Hope you like it.

Craft fair items

Happy Sunday everyone.  I hope everyone is having a great weekend.  Yesterday I spent the day at a local
elementary school craft fair.  I know I posted some of these items before on my blog but these are the finished items that I sold.  The tealight cards were a big hit,  some people bought them for house warming gifts and others for a nice little gift for friends and co workers. I like the idea of being able to make horizontal or vertical.  The cocoa packets were also a big hit for teacher gifts.  Then I made a simple popcorn slider, again for co-workers and/or teachers.
