Robyn is having a card drive for breast cancer. She is also giving away one of her awesome stamp sets.
I have a friend that recently found out she has breast cancer, so I knew I wanted to support anyone going through this. I cut out this cute little frog from Trina Clark digital images. The saying, I actually saw in a magazine and I really loved what it had to say. Hope you like it and if you have a few minutes and want to make a card for a great cause, check Robyn's blog, she has the address that you can mail it to.
Have a great day.

Card for a very sick little girl
I read over at Stacy's that her cousin's daughter Olivia just found out that she had a brain tumor. She is just 5 years old. You can go to Stacy's blog and get updates on her surgery and recovery. My prayers go out to the family and Olivia that she has a full recovery so she can start school and be with her friends and just do everything a little 5 year old wants to do.
So...I LOVE Monsters Inc. and my favorite Charcter is Sully. I cut Sully at 5 inches and placed him on a 5 x 5 card and trimmed off the excess. I wanted him to look like he was just leaving but looked over his shoulder to remind her she is his favorite thing. I hope she smiles when she receives it.

Get Well Card
My sister Patti has been sick for a while now, so I wanted to send her a get well card to let her know I was thinking of her.
The little bug is so cute! I used Best of Pixar (Patti let me borrow it :) ) and I used the sketch for this card from cardabilities. I think I am going to use sketches for some card ideas, they really have a lot of great ones. I went to Reny's the other day and found a package of 40 pastel greeting cards with matching envelopes for 1.99 - the card size is 5 x 7 - couldn't pass up that deal. I hope this makes my sister feel a little better knowing that I was thinking of her.

Bucket List Blog Hop Day 2
Happy Friday everyone!! Hope everyone was able to hop along and see all the great project everyone
made yesterday, I know they were an inspiration to me. Yesterday I made a layout of what is on my bucket list for the future. Today I made a layout of something I recently did on my birthday that I thought I would never do. Hike!! I can walk until the cows come home, but running and hiking...I really don't think my body knows the meaning of those two things. But on my birthday, my boyfriend and I
hiked to Chimney Pond in Millinocket Maine. It took us 3 hours to hike 3.3 miles up this mountain, over huge rocks and boulders. There was one point where the rocks looked to stairs going up to the heavens - beautiful but very difficult! I can tell you that ignorance is bliss, because I had no idea what I was in for when we started, if I did, I would not have done it. In the end, I was so glad I made it to Chimney Pond to enjoy such a beautiful untouched piece of nature. It was so peaceful and I was glad I accomplished something I never knew I could do.

Isn't this just beautiful? You were not allowed to wade in the pond - they didn't want anything touched. We just sat there on huge rocks and took it all in before coming to the realization...what goes up has to go down..took us another 3 hours to get back to the car - but it was worth it. :)

Bucket List Blog Hop
Welcome to the Bucket List Blog Hop. When I saw this, I knew I wanted to be part of it. I have so many things on my bucket list that I want to accomplish before I die and this would make me actually put some of them down on paper - or scrapbook them.
There are a few celebrations that we are celebrating along the way too. Michelle from www.craftychelle.blogspot.com is celebrating her 18th birthday! I can still remember my 18th birthday, I hope Michelle has a spectacular day. If you would like to start the blog hop from the beginning, please start at Michelle's blog. If you are here from Gill, who is celebrating her 11th anniversay!! you are in the right place.
I decided to do a scrapbook page for my first project. I HAVE to go to Alaska. I have an awesome friend there. Linda and her husband Chris moved to Alaska 3 years ago and they make it sound so wonderful. They both are adventerous spirits and are living life to the fullest. I would love to experience just some of the wonderful things they have experienced.

For the clipboard I used Fabulous Finds and cut it out at 8 inches, I used misc. stamps from Studio G around the pictures and clipboard. Hope you like it.

Here is my project. Deborah likes the colors, yellow, pink and brown, poka dots, dogs and dragon flies. I just bought the cricut cartridge Flower Shoppe and I think I am in love!! The flowers on the side of the card using the daisy were cut at 2 inches and the larger flower in the center at 2 3/4 inches
The lattice on the side was cut using the Martha Stewart border punch. The Happy Birthday stamp is from Stampin Up's Well Scripted stamp set and the dragon flies are from Studio G. The name of the card base is called Multiple Panel Card, which I learned from Dawns Stamping thoughts on Youtube.
