Back to School blog hop

Welcome to the Back To School Blog Hop with Paper Piecings By Nikki Design Team. Nikki has created some great back to school files and we are here to give you some ideas on what you can do with them!

If you arrived here from  Amanda then you are in the right spot. If you want to start at the beginning, then you can start at Nikki's Blog - www.paperpiecingsbynikki.com

Here is my Back to School project:

My son is turning 23 this weekend (1st day of hunting season and he is sooo excited) and this is the 2nd scrapbook layout I have done for his elementary years.  Yes, I am very very behind!!!

I used Nikki's file "Back to School" for the School bus and little bears, the "Fall Character Boarders" for the cute border on the top.  The title I cut from the Silhouette Cameo.

This little kindergarten picture of my son brings back so many memories.  This little boy did not want to go to school.  I did everything to get him excited about going to school, I took him to the school's playground and showed him how much fun it would be, we looked at the school buses...but nope, he made up his mind he was not going to school.  So I wanted to make sure there was journaling he could look back on and hopefully his children.  So I used Martha Stewarts scalloped boarder punch and wrote Christopher of my memories of his first day of school and slid it under the layout.

Your next stop on the hop is with Barb Thank you so much for joining us today.

If you get lost along the way, you can find you're way here.
